Some Facts about the Recorder:
• The recorder belongs to the woodwind family of instruments.
  
• When you play the recorder your left hand should always be on top!
  
• Squeaking can happen when you blow too hard or do not cover the holes all the way!
  
• The recorders we play together at school are called "soprano," or "descant" recorders.
  
• There are many types of recorders!
  

Recorders come in may different colors!

There are many different types of recorders like "soprano," "alto," "bass" and "tenor"!

A group of recorders playing together is called a "recorder ensemble."
